The answer can be found in the new Luna di Luna Sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Grigio.

 

 

Luna di Luna Sparkling Chardonnay / Pinot Grigio

 

 

This blend of 60 percent Chardonnay and 40 percent Pinot Grigio is made from selected grapes and vinified with soft pressing. Only the finest grapes are selected during harvest for this unique sparkling wine.

 

The wine is bright straw-yellow, with aromas of peach and melons. This is one wine that will not just sparkle when poured, it will continue to sparkle in the glass.

 

The secret is in the steel tank fermenting where the wine is aged for an extra 30 days than most sparkling wines.

 

    Region: Veneto, Italy

 

Grapes: 60 percent Chardonnay, 40 percent Pinot Grigio

Soil: Medium mixture with clay

Vine Training: Guyot

Average age of vines: 12 - 15 years

Aging process: Charmat method

Manager: Giorgio Pizzolo

Oneologist: Giovanni Menini

 

 

A fresh sparkling wine that tastes of fresh melons and peach, the bubbles rise throughout the finish.
