Many of you know of the obsession at Tribeca Grill. They love Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Their wine list has over 300 different Châteauneufs—the largest list in the world.
Tribeca Grill is excited to present a dinner featuring their favorite wine region on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Join us as we welcome Rhône importer extraordinaire Alain Junguenet to the restaurant along with some of his producers. Alain is legendary for representing over a dozen different Châteauneuf-du-Pape producers, many of whom will be on hand throughout the evening to answer all of your questions!
This will be your first opportunity to taste the outstanding 2006 Châteauneuf-du-Pape vintage as most of these wines will not be released until late spring. According to Robert Parker, “The 2006 Châteauneufs have terrific balance, immediate accessibility, purity and aromatic profiles. They are fruit forward and incredibly charming.”
